You can enter 1,999 companies. Each of those can contain up to 9,999 employees.
Can general ledger information be exported to QuickBooks?
Yes, the indivdual checks will not automatically go to any general ledger accounting software package however; you can export payroll totals to the QuickBooks General Journal (AMS Payroll Menu>Options>Import & Export Options>S. Export to QuickBooks General Journal).

Does the software have the mailing addresses for the state forms?
The mailing addresses are found on all the states’ client letters. When you generate the quarterly forms the system will ask if you want to print the client letters, respond yes and look at what is created.

Can a negative check be entered to correct an error in a previous quarter?
In this scenario, the preferred way to handle this is to omit and delete the check from the third quarter, then file amended returns with the respective agencies. The 1099-etc software is not designed to handle negative wages.
Can checks be recovered that were accidentally deleted?
Once you have deleted anything in the program it is gone. If you want it back you will have to re-enter it or restore a backup of that payer.
